How to take pictures of 3 young children...

1 of our best ones so far...Lily is saying Cheese:)

We have yet to figure this out...we have gotten a couple, but it usually isn't pretty:) As you can see our little princess isn't too thrilled about sitting with her brothers and "smiling" for the camera!!

Tiny Tots Music

We go to a music class every Friday. It is at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in West Des Moines and is free of charge! Miss Deb, the teacher, does an amazing job keeping the flow going and keeping the kids engaged. They learn songs, do actions, experience instruments, play simple instruments, hear stories, dance, and hear a bible message at the end. The kids are learning through music to follow directions, share, take turns, increase vocabulary, and so on! It is such a great time for the kids and they really have learned a lot! This is a short video of music class before Christmas!! The class is 30 min long so this just shows a little glimpse of what they do.
Here is a link to the church with the information on it if anyone else is interested in going!

The Girl

Our sweet little princess is 19 months now! It is so fun to see the differences in our kids. When you have 1 you think that this is how your kids will be and then #2 comes along and is the exact opposite!! Lily is our silly little girl with a contagious laugh!! Her belly laugh has not changed since she was 3 months old and it brightens up a room, along with all her different facial expressions. She loves to share her toys with anyone who says "please" and is the first one to the table when she hears nummies. She will scream when someone tries to take something from her or she has to get her diaper changed but other than that, she isn't a huge tantrum thrower at this point in her life(unlike her brother was). Lily is our tough little sweet pea! She has to be tough...she does not have a girl friend that she spends time with on a regular basis. She was blessed with a lot of men in her life:)!! She isn't very into dolls at this point, but LOVES the real deal, her baby brother!! She asks to hold him multiple times a day, puts his pacifier in lots, gets him toys and so on...it is fun to watch her interact with him! You will usually find Lily coloring on something, usually paper, but she also likes to add a little color to our walls. She also likes to correct some of Luke's papers if they are left out. Let's just say, we try to keep all writing utensils locked away unless we can supervise her:) She is learning and getting better with just using "her" paper! She also LOVES Dora!! She gets her "Duh Duh Duh Dora" every other day at home! Isaac chooses anything other than Dora on his day to choose:)!! Lily doesn't care though because she likes to watch anything that is on TV!!! Lily is also very timid, which is nice because she stays close to us when out or in the yard(unless her big brother is running somewhere, she likes to follow him). She barely runs because she doesn't want to fall and get hurt so if she is getting away, it is easy to grab her!! Her new favorite item is "Bubbles". She could do these all day long and is getting really good at blowing them herself!! We love our sweet little girl so much and still feel blessed to be able to raise both genders!! Lily and Isaac are the best of friends and Jonah will fit right in there with them in the next year:)!!

He's 3

3 years ago today, Luke and I became Parents to a beautiful little boy who was a spitting image of his father!! Our 9lb 22 in long Isaac Jay!! Wow have our lives changed in the last 3 years!! It is hard to believe how blessed we have been!!
I LOVED the 2 year old stage with our sweet Isaac!! He threw his fits, like most kids do, but he has learned so much and grown so much over this last year! I love the little boy he has turned into...he has a heart of gold and such a sweet little soul!! He is always looking out for his sister and making sure she is included in all he does!! And when he hears someone needs help or isn't feeling well, he is the first to say we need to pray for them, and he does!! His favorite phrase you hear from him multiple times a day "What are you guys talking about?" We tell him he is very inquisitive and I am amazed how well he retains the information given to him!! There is nothing better than being a parent and watching your child grow and learn!! I am excited to see what this next year will bring us and how our sweet boy will change again!!
He has been waiting for March 15th since Christmas time!! His day is finally here and he could not be more excited!! I love to see the joy and excitement in his eyes!! Words cannot do justice to how excited this little boy is today!! He is taking phone calls for anyone who would like to sing him Happy Birthday:)

Now that he is 3 he is really in need of his first haircut!! We'll see how that goes over:)
Sure looks like his baby brother:)

Jonah Fredrick

Our newest addition is our sweet baby boy Jonah!! His name means like a dove which stands for a peaceful person! This is fitting for this little guy who so far is very laid back and extremely patient!! He barely cries and is so content!! He was forced out Feb. 24 and came very quickly with an easy(as easy as labor can be:) labor and delivery!! He is the largest of the Miller crew weighing in at 9lbs 9 oz!! At his 2 week appointment, he was already up to 10lbs 9oz. He is such a joy to have in our family and we are so thankful to be blessed with such a sweet beautiful baby!!

Isaac and Lily are so proud!! Lily LOVES to hold her baby Brother and Isaac is such a good helper. His first words about Jonah were..."Can he crawl yet" Isaac would like him to play with him already:)
The official weigh in!!

Back at it!!

I always want to update this, but never make the time to do so...after reading a couple posts on here, it makes me sad I have not kept up with this! I love reading where Isaac and Lily were at during the different stages of their lives and since it has almost been a year and our family has grown again, I am going to try to keep up with this...we'll see how it goes!!

Little update on the Millers

I always have lots of things I want to blog about. Ideas that come to my in my head, things I see, experiences I have and so on, but life gets in the way and I struggle to find time to sit down and type a message. God bless those Moms out there that do blogging for a living while balancing a house and children. Maybe in the next few weeks I will get to writing down these thoughts or ideas I have to write about, but for now I will give you a quick update on our happenings...

Isaac- Our independent thinker...what a joy he is to raise and we thank God everyday for such a blessing that he is. He is a full fledge 2 year old now, which means, he wants to be an adult and if it doesn't go his way, he will let you know. 2 year olds don't quite understand they can't have everything that they want and he is learning that lesson daily, but a kid's gotta try right? He is a good listener though and knows his limits and boundaries which is nice! He is such a good big brother to his sister and is enjoying having her around to play with him. He is always watching out for her and making sure she is included!!

Lily- Our go getter...our precious little girl is growing up and she is a very determined, strong willed little one!! She loves to give people hugs and loves to steal pacifiers from anyone that comes in her path. She eats everything she comes in contact with(glad I know how to do finger sweeps and the baby heimlich maneuver, sweeps are done multiple times a day) My favorite was the day I pulled 2 magnets out of her mouth at the same time, thank you to her big brother for putting them in her reach:). She is a master crawler, stair climber, walker around furniture, cupboard opener, and did I mention putting things in her mouth. We love our bright blue eyed little red head!!!

Luke- will be done with another school year in the next few weeks...HALLELUJAH!!! I love the summer time not so much for the nice weather and being able to do more things outside, but for the fact that my husband has so much more time to spend with all of us!! He does a good job of balancing everything during the school year, but summer is such a breath of fresh air having extra dad time!!!

Tracy- has been garage saling, couponing, and constantly looking for cheap deals!! I will post some of my websites that are helping me "rob", i mean get lots of items for free or for pocket change!! The life of couponing is quite interesting and yet so much fun to save all that money:)!! I do LOVE a good deal!!

As for pictures, I will get some uploaded soon!!! We have some good ones to post if I would get them up on my computer!! I thought I should finish this post since I started it a few days ago and still haven't put it up!! Hope everyone has a great rest of the week!!
